The Bachelor's Degree program in Game Design and Development provides training in principles and techniques used to create interactive 2D and 3D computer games.

Performance Objectives:
Design Skills: Graduates of our Game Design and Development Program should be able to analyze and develop creative solutions to game design problems and convert their concepts into final, professional designs. They should understand computer programming using Java and C++ to design games, as well as computer programming problem-solving techniques, networking principles, digital media design, interactive website design and artificial intelligence.
Professional Skills: Graduates of our Game Design and Development program should understand professional business practices in game design, communicate effectively with other designers, and apply professional standards and regulations to their work. They should also be familiar with current technology and software and with the workings of a professional design studio.
